Bartending Classes in White Plains

At National Bartenders School you will learn AND become certified in Mixology, the ART of mixing drinks. You will also become fully familiar with the daily operations of typical bar and beverage areas found in full-service restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs and other hospitality establishments.Our program is half instruction/lecture and half "lab" format, so you'll spend lots of time actually mixing drinks behind a real bar.

There is absolutely NO substitute for practical, hands-on training when it comes to acquiring the skill-set that's necessary for an exciting and profitable bartending career.

Additionally, in our course, you will also address many key hospitality topics such as:

  • Mixing over 300 drinks
  • Coordination, skill, and bar tricks
  • Alcohol awareness training
  • Customer service skills and knowledge

  • Q: How long is your program? We offer a 40 hour program that will take you one or two weeks depending on what your schedule will allow you to do.
  • Q: Are there any age requirements for enrollment? Yes - You need to be at least 18 years old to attend our school. Incidentally, you also need to be at least this age to work as a bartender.
  • Q: Does your school provide for an authentic, hands-on experience? Each of our locations is equipped with a complete double-station, double-bar setup. This is an entirely authentic bar environment, of the same type that you will encounter as a professional working in any bar, club or restaurant.
  • Q: How does your job placement assistance work? Upon graduation, each student receives personalized job placement assistance. You do not have to interview for any job that you are not interested in. We have been providing placement assistance to our graduates for many years and have established a great reputation for providing well-trained professional bartenders.
  • Q: What's the procedure to enroll/register? It's very simple. We do not have application forms or website submittals you need to deal with. Simply call or visit the school before the first day of your planned class.
