Professional Bartending Schools of America

The Nashville campus of the Professional Bartending School opened in 1992, and has been under the direction of David Edwards since then. Due to the central location of our school, we are only a 15 to 20 minute drive from most areas of Nashville.

Professional Bartending School of Nashville is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. We have trained over 15,000 people from the greater Nashville area, of all ages and backgrounds, for a rewarding career in bartending.Other schools have come and gone during the last 28 years but our school continues to lead the industry not only in the Nashville area but nationwide in training professional bartenders.

Bartending Training

Our Professional Bartending/Mixology course is a forty hour course which consists of ten four-hour bartending classes. Our Professional Bartending/Mixology course can be completed over a one, two or five week period. New bartending classes start each week.

Graduates of our mixology course will have learned how to professionally prepare over 125 traditional drinks as well as the latest trendy drinks that are popular in Nashville. Drinks range from the traditional martini & manhattan to the ever popular sex on the beach.

We employ only professional experienced hospitality industry instructors. Our staff has attended and passed the Anheuser-Busch Beertender Training Program for instructors and the Guinness Beer Perfect Pour training program. Both of these fine companies have supplied us with our training materials and every student goes through this premium beer training.

Our Nashville Bartending School also teaches the National Restaurant ServSafe responsible alcohol service program. This certification is approved by the State of Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission. Upon completion of this course, the student will receive the Tennessee ABC Server Permit and is valid for 5 years.

Job Placement

Our Nashville school offers personalized, one-on-one local job placement assistance to all of our graduates. Upon graduation, the bartender may report to the job placement office for one-on-one job placement assistance. Our Job Placement Director works very hard to help each bartender find the bartending job that they are looking for. Our school has achieved a local job placement rate of over 90% over the last fifteen years here in Nashville.

Our fifteen year record of success is based on our ability to get our graduates working. We live and work in Nashville and spend most weekends visiting bars and restaurants and making contacts.
